Innovative Energy Group on the JSE

Ciboney has officially rebranded to Innovative Energy Group.

The company’s new ticker was recently relisted on the Jamaica Stock Exchange signalling the company’s fresh start. Ciboney, which was a shell company on the JSE for several years, was acquired by Wiltshire Consulting and Advisory last year.

The shares were transferred to Wiltshire’s subsidiary, IEG.

Speaking on Taking Stock with Kalilah Reynolds, Executive Chairman Nigel Davy said the company has already hit the ground running.

“We construct projects for third parties. Notable projects that we have done in the green energy space would be the Manely Solar project which was 2.3 megawatts AC, we did the Sangster’s   International Airport solar project which was 2.2 megawatts,” he revealed.

Davy said the company has also submitted bids for upcoming projects.

“We have submitted a bid for two blocks of the GPE Renewable Energy project and we believe we have a compelling project. It’s a very competitive process but we expect to be competitive,” he said.

The Chairman said the company has also been prequalified for the Jamaica Public Service’s upcoming 300MW project.
