There is no one-size fits all cure when it comes to keeping on top of digital marketing trends.

Digital marketing uses the Internet and online-based technologies to promote products and services.

Speaking on MoneyMovesJa with Kalilah Reynolds, CEO of digital marketing firm, One Great Studio, Djuvane Browne said that understanding your target audience is key to keeping up to date with marketing trends.

He explained that a company’s digital marketing strategy has to be tailored to its audience and where that audience spends its time.

“When we’re talking about what’s in and what’s out, the first thing to talk about is ‘what’s in for who?’” he explained.

“We have to make sure that we don’t just use a broad stroke and say this is out and this is in,” he said, adding that digital marketing is diverse and should be tailored to the company’s specific needs.

Browne said that knowing where your business gets the best results is also essential.

“First, you have to understand what your objectives are. What do you want your business to do or accomplish? Once you know what your objectives are, then you can measure the results because there are tools that can help with that,” he said.

He explained that some businesses may thrive on Facebook while others barely get any traction. TikTok is a great place to gain visibility but that may not always result in people buying or using your product or service.
