Mukesh Ambani just made nearly US$2 billion in two hours!

Mukesh Ambani is Asia’s richest man, and he’s clearly playing chess, not checkers. When his son got married in July, the wedding cost a reported US$600 million!  And many people criticized the extravagant cost.

But the whole thing was really a global PR stunt. Rihanna, the Kardashians, and much of the world’s elite were in attendance, ensuring global press coverage and making Ambani a household name.

Just a month later, Mukesh Ambani unveiled a plan to make AI available for everyone!

According to Bloomberg News, Ambani’s fortune rose by nearly US$1.8 billion during his two hour address.

So that US$600 million wedding?  Yeah, he’s already 3X that investment with just the speech alone.

His company, Reliance Industries, is considering a bonus stock issue for the first time in seven years.  And he’s reportedly looking to attract small shareholders.

FYI, Reliance trades on the National Stock Exchange of India.  It’s currently trading at over US$3,000 a share, up 17% year to date.

That jump has made Mukesh Ambani the 11th richest person in the world.  He’s worth an estimated US$114 billion, right after Google cofounder, Sergei Brinn.
